Otto documentation
How to add the Otto chat to your website, connect your catalogue and link Otto to your own system through the API, webhooks or a mobile app.
How Otto works
Otto is a chat on your website. It answers customers from your product catalogue, your website pages and the knowledge you add in the panel. It checks prices, stock and delivery dates before an answer goes out. When it is not sure, or the customer wants a person, it hands the conversation to you and it shows up in the Inbox in the panel.
You set everything up in the panel at ottoai.sk/admin. These docs are for when you want to connect Otto to your own system: a custom website or template, a catalogue from your ERP, contacts into your CRM, conversations into your helpdesk, or the chat inside a mobile app.
Quick start
- Add the chat code to your website. Find it in the panel under Overview, on the Installation & integrations card. See Installing the chat.
- Connect your catalogue. Paste your XML feed address in Settings, under Catalogue. Without a feed, Otto reads your website. See Product catalogue.
- Connect your own system. In Settings, under Connections, create an API key and set up a webhook. Start with API.
