Where to paste the Otto chat code in Eshop-rychlo as a custom tracking code, which plan allows it and where to generate the product feed.

Eshop-rychlo, called Eshop-rychle in the Czech Republic, is a platform for renting an online store. You add the chat code as a custom tracking code placed in the footer, which takes about 5 minutes. The platform's guides are in Czech, so the steps give the Czech admin names with their meaning in brackets.

What you need

  • An Otto account. You find the chat code in the panel under Overview, on the Installation & integrations card, on the Eshop-rychlo tile. It is under the More platforms tile, and you can also search for it.
  • The Hobby plan or higher. On the Free plan you have to buy the custom tracking code as an add-on.

Chat code

On the Eshop-rychlo tile, click Copy code. You get one line with your company’s public key:

The sample shows pk_vas_kluc instead of a key, the tile gives you the code with your own key. The key is not a password, you do not need to hide it. Add the code once, it covers the whole site.

Adding the code

  1. In the admin open E-shop in the left menu and then Měřící kódy (Tracking codes).
  2. At the bottom of the page click the green Přidat vlastní kód (Add custom code) button on the right.
  3. Enter a name, for example Otto, and set Pozice (Position) to Patička (Footer).
  4. Paste the chat code into the Zdrojový kód (Source code) field and click Uložit (Save).
On the Free plan the custom tracking code is a paid add-on, from the Hobby plan up it is included.

Checking it works

  1. Open your website in a new browser window and reload. A chat bubble should pop up in the bottom right.
  2. Send the chat a test question. Otto answers within a few seconds.
  3. In the panel, under Settings, Connections, the Your website row shows the domain the chat runs on.

Product catalogue

You create the feed in E-shop, Export, Export produktů (Product export): pick a comparison site, for example Heureka, Zboží.cz or Google nákupy, and your domain, click Vygenerovat feed (Generate feed) and the address shows below. According to the price list, the feed refreshes automatically once every 14 days on the Free to Startup plans and once every 2 hours on Business. On the Free plan the export for comparison sites is a paid add-on.

Paste the feed address in the panel under Settings, Catalogue, and click Check feed. The panel tells you how many products it found, and Otto keeps the feed up to date on its own. More in Product catalogue.

Troubleshooting

I cannot add a custom code

On the Free plan the custom tracking code is a paid add-on. Buy it, or move to the Hobby plan or higher.

Otto shows old prices

On the lower plans the feed refreshes automatically only once every 14 days. After a price change, generate it again in E-shop, Export, Export produktů with the Vygenerovat feed button.

The chat only shows on the thank-you page after an order

The custom code has the thank-you page set as its position. Open it in Měřící kódy, set Pozice to Patička and save.

Also check

  • Reload the page without cache with Ctrl+F5, or open it in a private window.
  • The code should be on the page only once, a second copy is ignored.
  • A cookie consent bar can block scripts until the visitor agrees. If the chat only shows up after consent, see Cookie consent.
  • If your site sends a Content-Security-Policy header, allow https://ottoai.sk in it, as shown in Content-Security-Policy.
  • In the browser console (F12), look for messages starting with [Otto]. They tell you what the chat is missing.

Removing the chat

In E-shop, Měřící kódy delete the Otto custom code, or empty its Zdrojový kód field and save.
